Our hog population is right where we want it to be, not too many. The ones that we do have are usually the huge trophy boar hogs that are traveling through looking for a willing sow to breed. You will occasionally see a group of hogs, but they seem to come and leave throughout the year.
*There is no season for hunting wild boar in Oklahoma, however, while hunting hog during deer season, you must comply with rules and regulations for deer. Legal Method of Take: Any legal weapon for hunting is allowed for hunting hogs in Oklahoma including crossbows.
